During the Red Bull Music Festival Atlanta I redesigned the interior of Atlanta underground club MJQ for Dj Ohso’s Bounce Dat party.  Working off Dj Ohso’s desire to make the club feel like the opening sequence of the 1998 film “Belly” I went to work finding reflective materials that could interact with the lighting design.  We also built out a fully immersive atomic space-age themed salon where partiers could have their nails done and receive temporary face tats, tooth gems or baby hair. This salon was complete with custom-designed boomerang vendor tables and a kidney-shaped infinite mirror.  Lastly, we helped realize two photo op’s for Dj Ohso;  one inside a large custom made barbie box complete with “Redbull” and “hmgrl” branding, the other a room full of tropical palms where revelers could relax on a chaise lounge while enjoying grapes and being fanned by two half-naked models.
