Pardon Our Dust
Pardon Our Dust, is a Video Installation, that takes the form of a eviscerated construction site. It was presented, as a societal antidote, to the Downtown Los Angeles public mass on two separate occasions. What if objects had memory? What if a construction site could record its daily life? Pardon Our Dust turns the viewer into a voyeur, presenting an opportunity to look beyond the partition. But beyond the four walls lies a paradox, what is inside is a echo of what is external. Pardon Our dust presents the viewer with a unflinching view of 14 different Los Angeles sites. Locations where one might imagine this alien object once existed. These urban LA locations are presented in peaceful serenity, as time slows down one begins to notice breath, with breath comes beauty. Within this space lies the memory of an object and a sanctuary.
